1. Who We Are

guides.josh-v.com is operated by Josh VanDeraa ("we", "us", "our"). We sell digital guides and educational content for network engineers. By purchasing or accessing our products, you agree to these terms.

2. What You're Buying

Our products are digital guides delivered as downloadable PDF files. When you purchase a guide, you receive:

• Immediate access to download the guide in PDF format
• Updates to that guide for the duration of your purchase or subscription
• The right to use the guide for your own personal and professional learning

3. License and Usage

When you purchase a guide, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for your own learning and professional development.

You may:

• Download and keep copies on your personal devices
• Use the code examples, configs, and lab files in your own work
• Reference the guide content in your day-to-day network engineering
• Print copies for your own personal use

You may not:

• Share, redistribute, or resell the guide (in whole or in part)
• Upload the guide to file-sharing sites, torrents, or public repositories
• Use the guide content to create competing products
• Share your download link or account access with others

4. Subscriptions and Renewals

Some products are sold as annual subscriptions. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You can cancel your subscription at any time through Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider) or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period - you keep access until then.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Because these are digital products with immediate access, we handle refunds on a case-by-case basis.

• If you're unsatisfied with the content quality, reach out within 14 days of purchase and we'll work it out
• We do not offer refunds for "change of mind" after downloading the product
• If you experience technical issues accessing your purchase, contact us and we'll resolve it

6. Content Accuracy

We work hard to keep our guides accurate and up to date. However:

• AI CLI tools (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI) update frequently - commands and features may change after publication
• Network configurations shown are for educational purposes in lab environments
• Always validate configurations before deploying to production networks
• We are not responsible for any issues arising from applying guide content to production systems

Our guides are educational resources, not professional consulting. Use your engineering judgment.

7. Intellectual Property

All guide content - text, diagrams, code examples, lab files, and branding - is the intellectual property of Josh VanDeraa and is protected by copyright. Purchasing a guide does not transfer ownership of the content.

The code examples and network configurations provided in the guides are licensed for your personal and professional use. You're free to adapt them for your own networks.

8. Third-Party Tools and Services

Our guides reference third-party tools and services including (but not limited to) Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, Containerlab, Arista cEOS, and Nautobot. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Nokia, Arista Networks, or Network to Code. These products are subject to their own terms, licensing, and availability.

9. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They handle payment processing, sales tax, and billing. Your financial information is handled by Lemon Squeezy and is never stored on our servers. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms and Conditions.

10. Privacy

We collect minimal information - just what's needed to deliver your purchase (email address and payment info via Lemon Squeezy). We don't sell your data. We may send you product update emails related to your purchase. You can unsubscribe at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, guides.josh-v.com and Josh VanDeraa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
